Superintendent's Welcome

Welcome to RSU 15/MSAD 15’s Web page!  MSAD 15 is a school district located in southern Maine with convenient access along the I-95 corridor to the cities of Portland, Lewiston and Auburn. The two communities of Gray and New Gloucester are growing towns with a combined population of 12,000 people.  Each of the towns is proud of their local historical heritage and the District’s five schools and adult education program.  More information about individual schools or programs can be accessed through this Web site.
The education of all our students is a number one priority for MSAD 15. Achievement of our mission, “preparing all students to take the next step”, cannot be accomplished without the active participation of staff, students, and citizens of Gray and New Gloucester. Communication is the path toward involvement.
The District has attempted to create a Web site that is a pleasant place to access information about our schools. MSAD 15 is proud of the work that we do to ensure student success as learners, workers and citizens. As you review our Web site, I hope you find the information you seek about our schools. If you have any suggestions or questions about MSAD 15, please contact me at vburns@msad15.org or call my office at (207) 657-3335.
Thank you for taking the time to learn about our schools! I am proud to serve as a leader for the Gray-New Gloucester Patriots!

Victoria Burns, Superintendent

The Department of Education researched school districts in the United States looking for models that successfully improved student achievement through standards-based design and who could fulfill the state’s promise of a “learner centered education where all students will graduate post-secondary, career and citizenship ready”.
